The Drywall Ceiling-Scriber is a manually operated tool for scribing masking-lines on drywall ceilings to mark off a ceiling border around a room prior to texturing. Drywall installers, tapers, and painters will frequently use this tool. The Drywall Ceiling-Scriber has three forms depending on the wall profile and the preferred manner of operation: a single wheel drywall ceiling-scriber, a double wheel drywall ceiling-scriber, and a triple wheel drywall ceiling-scriber. All three variations are designed to mark off a continuous parallel line to follow the curvature of a straight or rounded wall or a straight or rounded dropped ceiling. The drywall ceiling-scribers can also be used to scribe cutout lines on ceiling drywall panels to fit the curvature of a rounded wall. All three drywall ceiling-scribers have a wheel-assembly at the end of a horizontal shaft that guides a scribing-pencil parallel along the wall on flat and curved surfaces. The scribing-pencil can be easily adjusted up or down and can be moved along the shaft or handle to scribe lines at different distances from the wall to mark off 4 to 12 inch borders.
