A finishing device used to form a comer between two panels (804) of drywall has a flexible joint (100) extending along a predetermined axis. Two wings (102, 104) are connected to and extend outwardly in a diverging relation from the flexible joint (100) to form a corner having a adjustable angle. Each wing (102, 104) has a front surface (106), a rear surface (108), and an edge (110) distal from the flexible joint (100). This edge (110) abuts one of said drywall panels (804) and has a thickness approximately equal to the thickness of the drywall panel (804). A layer of primer (300) or adhesive laminate (400) is applied to the front surface (106) of the wings (102, 104) so that paint can bond to the front surface (106). The finishing device is capable of forming both inside and outside corners. TO form inside corners, the finishing device bends along the flexible joint (100). TO form outside corners, strip (208, 210) parallel to the flexible joint (100) are removed from the rear surface (108) of the wings (102, 104) and the finishing device is folded along the opening thus created.
Ce dispositif de finition sert à former un coin entre deux panneaux (804) de cloison sèche et comprend un joint souple (100) placé le long d'un axe déterminé. Deux ailes (102, 104), reliées à ce joint souple (100), s'écartent de ce dernier en divergeant afin de former un coin à angle réglable. Chaque aile (102, 104) présente une surface avant (106), une surface arrière (108) et un bord (110) distal par rapport au joint souple (100). Ce bord (110) vient en butée sur un panneau de cloison sèche (804) dont il a pratiquement la même épaisseur. Une couche de fond (300) ou d'un stratifié adhésif (400) est appliquée sur la surface avant (106) des ailes (102, 104) pour que de la peinture puisse y adhérer. Ce dispositif de finition permet de former des coins intérieurs ou extérieurs. Pour former des coins intérieurs, il se plie le long du joint souple (100), et pour former des coins extérieurs, on retire des bandes (208, 210), parallèles au joint souple (100), de la surface arrière des ailes (102, 104) et on plie ce dispositif de finition le long des ouvertures ainsi créées.
