A motorized rotary sander is provided with an efficient dust pick-up system which particularly adapts it to drywall sanding. The abrasive discs used in the system are designed to provide an improved finish on drywall and similar surfaces. The discs are quickly and easily replaced by virtue of the bayonet type fastening system. The combination results in a highly efficient drywall sanding device which requires minmum skill on the part of the user and can produce superior results.
