A dual analyte immunoassay for the detection of amphetamine and methamphetamine is provided in which only one labelled binding partner is used which can interact with the combination of antibodies and their corresponding analytes detecting the presence of the analytes either alone or in combination. The binding partner is a labelled derivative of one of the analytes capable of binding to both antibodies with different affinity.
