An integrated multi-band and multi-polarization antenna array comprising: a plurality of first waveguides located in spaced parallel relationship, the waveguides being dimensioned so as to carry signals of a first wavelength, the waveguides containing slots in a first surface so as to radiate the signals carried by the first waveguides with horizontal polarization, a plurality of second waveguides located in spaced parallel relationship to each other and to the first waveguides, and bridging and abutting the first waveguides adjacent a second surface opposite the first surface, the second waveguides being dimensioned to carry signals of the first wavelength, the second waveguides containing slots in a surface parallel to the first surface so as to radiate signals carried by the second waveguides with vertical polarization, a third waveguide located in spaced parallel relationship to the first and second waveguides, dimensioned to carry signals of a second wavelength, and containing slots in a surface parallel to the first surface so as to radiate signals carried by the third waveguide with vertical polarization, the third waveguide being disposed between walls of the first waveguides and above a second waveguide at a location whereat electric field reflections from faces thereof of energy emitted from the second waveguide add in antiphase.

L'invention est une antenne réseau multibande et multipolarisation comportant : une pluralité de premiers guides d'ondes parallèles dimensionnés de façon à transmettre des signaux ayant une première longueur d'onde donnée, ces guides d'onde portant des fentes sur une première face pour rayonner avec une polarisation horizontale les signaux qu'ils transportent, une pluralité de seconds guides d'ondes parallèles les uns aux autres et aux premiers guides d'ondes et jouxtant les premiers guides d'ondes adjacents à une seconde face opposée à la première, ces seconds guides d'ondes étant dimensionnés pour transmettre des signaux ayant la première longueur d'ondes et portant des fentes dans une face parallèle à la première face pour rayonner avec une polarisation horizontale les signaux qu'ils transportent, un troisième guide d'ondes parallèle aux premiers et aux seconds guides d'ondes dimensionné de façon à transmettre des signaux ayant une seconde longueur d'onde et portant des fentes dans une face parallèle à la première face pour rayonner avec une polarisation verticale les signaux qu'il transporte, ce troisième guide d'ondes étant placé entre les parois des premiers guides d'ondes et au-dessus d'un second guide d'ondes à un endroit où se superposent en opposition de phase les champs électriques émis par le second guide d'ondes qui sont réfléchis par les faces des premiers guides d'onde.
