A high pressure delivery device for delivering a medicament includes a first chamber for storing a supply of the medicament and a second chamber in fluid communication with the first chamber. A fluid connection path is in fluid communication with the second chamber for administering the medicament. A valving system is in fluid communication with the first chamber, the second chamber and the fluid connection path. The valving system allows a dose of the medicament to be injected from the first chamber into the second chamber while substantially preventing backflow of the dose into the first chamber and substantially preventing leakage through the fluid connection path. The valving system also allows the dose in the second chamber to be administered through the fluid connection path while substantially preventing the dose from flowing back into the first chamber.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'administration sous haute pression pour administrer un médicament. Le dispositif comporte un premier compartiment destiné à stocker un approvisionnement en médicament et un second compartiment en communication fluidique avec le premier compartiment. Un chemin de connexion fluidique est en communication fluidique avec le second compartiment pour l'administration du médicament. Un système de vanne est en communication fluidique avec le premier compartiment, le second compartiment et le chemin de connexion fluidique. Le système de vanne permet d'injecter une dose du médicament depuis le premier compartiment dans le second compartiment tout en évitant sensiblement tout refoulement de la dose dans le premier compartiment et tout en évitant sensiblement toute fuite via le chemin de connexion fluidique. Le système de vanne permet également d'administrer la dose présente dans le second compartiment via le chemin de connexion fluidique tout en évitant sensiblement le refoulement de la dose dans le premier compartiment.
