A dual-flow filter for the biological purification of effluents, particularly water, comprising at least two filtration cells arranged in series and in fluid communication with one another so that the effluent to be treated can flow therethrough. The first filtration cell (1) is an upflow cell while the second filtration cell (2) is a downflow cell, and said filter comprises an intermediate vessel (4) arranged between said filtration cells (1, 2) and provided with aerating means (5) and a siphon partition (6) for guiding the flows.
Filtre double flux pour l'épuration biologique d'effluents et notamment de l'eau comportant au moins deux cellules de filtration, disposées en série, en liaison hydraulique, de manière à être parcourues successivement par l'effluent à traiter, caractérisé en ce que la première cellule de filtration (1) est du type à flux ascendant et la seconde cellule de filtration (2) est du type à flux descendant, et en ce qu'il comporte un caisson intermédiaire (4) disposé entre les deux cellules de filtration successives (1, 2) ce caisson intermédiaire étant pourvu de moyens d'aération (5), avec une circulation des flux dirigée à l'aide d'une cloison siphoïde (6).
