The object of the invention relates to a dual function system for dental implants comprising a pier (1) anchored to the implant (2) through a retaining bolt (3) and an attachment (4) which can be used without distinction as a transfer element for taking an impression of the position of the implant (2) or as a support for fixing a temporary prosthesis on said implant (2), wherein said attachment (4) comprises axial retaining elements (6) and radial retaining elements (7) preventing its mobility when it is used both to take an impression and when it is used as a support of the temporary crown.

La invención tiene por objeto un sistema de doble función para implantes dentales que comprende un pilar (1) anclado al implante (2) a través de un tornillo retentivo (3) y un aditamento (4) susceptible de ser utilizado indistintamente como elemento de transferencia para la toma de impresión de la posición del implante (2) o como soporte para fijar una prótesis provisional sobre dicho implante (2), en donde dicho aditamento (4) comprende elementos retentivos axiales (6) y radiales (7) que evitan la movilidad de éste cuando se utiliza tanto para la toma de impresión como cuando se utiliza como soporte de la corona provisional.
