A dual mode demodulating device includes a first mixer which receives a first digital detect signal or an analog detect signal in switchover manner so as to detect a received modulated wave. The device further includes a second mixer which receives a second digital detect signal, differing in phase by 90° from the fist digital signal, so as to detect a received modulated wave. The device can demodulate both digital and analog modulated waves using only two mixers. As a result, the size and manufacturing cost of the device can be reduced.
