ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dual sensor refrigeration control has a first temper- ature responsive means responsive to the air temperature in a re- frigerated compartment and a second temperature responsive means, with a thermal mass to simulate the thermal response of food, mounted to respond to the air temperature in the compartment. The tow temperature responsive means are connected so that the combined outputs of the responsive means control a switch actuator for controlling the refrigeration apparatus. By the combined ef- fects of the temperature sensors, the refrigeration apparatus is controlled so that during heavy refrigeration loads long on cycles are provided and yet during normal loads the off cycle time is not too great.
