DUAL SPINDLE NUT RUNNER MECHANISM Abstract of the Disclosure A machine tool has two nut runner spindle assemblies for tightening two threaded fasteners simultaneously. One nut runner spindle is maintained in a fixed position on a slide member which slidably supports the other nut runner spindle. The slide member is secured to a movable portion of a base or robot member so that the nut runner spindles can be positioned to engage with pairs of fasteners disposed at various center distances.
