A dual substrate, single-pass printing process prints a high weight substrate (14) and a low basis weight substrate (12). Ink striking through the low basis weight substrate (12) is collected and absorbed by the high basis weight substrate (14). The printed substrates are then separated and rewound for subsequent transport and handling.

Procédé d'impression à passage unique pour substrats doubles qui consiste à imprimer un substrat de grammage élevé (14) et un substrat de faible grammage (12). L'encre qui traverse le substrat de faible grammage (12) est recueillie puis absorbée par le substrat de grammage élevé (14). Les substrats imprimés sont ensuite séparés puis rembobinés pour l'étape suivante de transport et de manutention.
