ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A power circuit includes a DC-AC inverter circuit having a boosting transformer; an intermediate terminal connected to the boosting transformer, through which a DC input voltage is supplied to the boosting transformer; and a control circuit for controlling operation of the inverter circuit. In the power circuit, first and second conditions are alternatively selected with the control circuit. In the first condition, the inverting operation is effected with the inverter circuit, and in the second condition, the DC input voltage is led out through the boosting transformer without the inverting operation of the inverter circuit. According to the above-described power circuit, although two different DC input voltages are alternatively supplied to the power circuit, a constant DC output voltage can be obtained from the latter. Further, even when a constant DC input voltage is supplied to the power circuit, two Different DC output voltages can be obtained from the latter.
