ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A spacer ring which has an indented reinforcement groove is fastened to the outer rim of a dual wheel of a vehicle. A fastening ring is welded to the inner surface of the reinforcement groove. The outer rim and the spacer ring are pressed against the vehicle wheel rim by a plural- ity of tensioning devices, which are suspended on the fastening ring. The outer wheel is placed against the vehicle wheel in any desired rotational position and coupled therewith with the aid of the tensioning devices, the number of which is adapted to the load on the dual wheel. - 6 -
