A duct section and sys-tem, including a laminated shroud, act-ing as a secondary duct, for aerospace and other applications, and a method for constructing same. The duct structure incorporates a metallic primary duct tube, with a laminated shroud surround-ing the primary duct tube and separated therefrom by an annular gap. The lami-nated shroud includes a metallic inner layer and a polymeric outer layer. Preferably, the thin metallic layer is a corrosion resistant material such as cor-rosion resistant stainless steel or titani-um. In one embodiment of the inven-tion, the outer polymeric layer is a poly-imide material, such as polyimide resin--impregnated fiberglass cloth.

La présente invention concerne une section à poussière et un système, comportant une enveloppe stratifiée, agissant comme un conduit secondaire, pour le domaine aérospatial et dautres applications, et son procédé de construction. La structure du conduit incorpore un tube de conduit métallique primaire doté dune enveloppe stratifiée entourant le tube de conduit primaire et séparé de celle-ci par un espace annulaire. Lenveloppe stratifiée comporte une couche métallique intérieure et une couche polymère extérieure. De préférence, la mince couche métallique est constituée dun matériau résistant à la corrosion, tel que lacier inoxydable ou le titane résistant à la corrosion. Dans un mode de réalisation de linvention, la couche polymère extérieure est un matériau en polyimide, tel quun tissu de verre imprégné de résine de polyimide.
