8-CH-3077 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Ductile and solvent resistant aromatic polycarbonate compositions are obtained comprising an admixture of a high molecular weight aromatic polycarbonate and a block copolymer consisting of alternating segments of an aromatic polycarbonate and a polyorganosiloxane. The polycarbonate compositions also exhibit improved flame retardance.
