ABSTRACT A resin composition which comprises: (A) from about 99.5 to about 70 percent by weight, based on the total weight of components (A) and (B), of a poly(arylene sulfide) having a melt viscosity of from about 300 to about 8,000 poise at 1,200 sec-1 and 310°C; (B) from about 0.5 to about 30 percent by weight, based on the total weight of components (A) and (B), of an emulsion cured silicon rubber which is the condensation product of (i) an organopolysiloxane having at least two terminal active hydrogen functional groups per molecule, and (ii) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; and (C) from about 0.1 to about 2.0 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of components A, B and C combined, of an organosilane selected from the group consisting of: amino-, vinyl-, epoxy-, and mercaptosilanes.
