This is a dumbbell support device called a dumbbell support ledge that can be placed on a power rack, a dumbbell support ledge rack or another type of weight lifting structure. The dumbbell support ledge rack is the support structure specifically designed to accommodate the dumbbell support ledge. The dumbbell support ledge consists of an inclined surface that is used for the dumbbells to rest on and a rectangular back piece used as a backstop for the dumbbells. The opposite ends of the device can attach anywhere on the adjustable safety spotter bars of a power rack, or they can be placed on the supports of the dumbbell support ledge rack itself. Securing pins at the bottom of the ends of the device secure the device on the safety spotter bars. This device eliminates the need for a spotter and makes it easy to remove the dumbbells from the device. It also makes it easy to place the dumbbells back on the device when an exercise set is completed.
