The present invention is directed to a net (z1, z2, z3), and more specifically to a knitted net comprising a plurality of chain and fill yarns comprising mono-filaments that decreases the overall mass of the net, yet increases the durability of the net. In accordance with the present invention, the netting is used as bale wrap (3).
