A wood product known in the construction industry as a "wood return" or a "window liner" is used to provide a wood finish on the interior side of a window opening. In this invention a wood product of different lengths and widths is machined with a tongue protruding along the length of the wood product. Along the length of the tongue a groove is machined into the tongue's wider surface. The simple function is to assemble the wood product with the grooved tongue into the groove of the vinyl frame of the window.
