The upper bladeguard of a circular saw has an inclined dust port for discharging dust formed during a sawing operation. The dust port is formed in the outer or cover section of the bladeguard and is configured such that this section may be formed by a two-piece mold. The inner section of the bladeguard has a wall formation which cooperates with a wall formation on the outer section to form a passageway to direct the dust through the dust port. The inner section of the bladeguard can also be formed by a two-piece mold.
