Abstract of the Disclosure A seal arrangement for the shaft of a high intensity mixer rotor comprises a block housing a plurality of pistons which together urge a collar axially of the shaft into engagement with a sealing surface of the rotor. The pistons are mounted in chambers in the block, and are all connected to a common pressurizable fluid inlet in the block. The block may be U-shaped to facilitate removal of the block from the shaft.
