A composition for oxidation dyeing keratin fibres, containing at least one N-substituted 4-hydroxyindole derivative as the coupler and at least one oxidation base, is disclosed. Novel N-substituted 4-hydroxyindole derivatives, a synthesis method therefor, the use thereof as couplers for oxidation dyeing keratin fibres in conjunction with at least one oxidation base, and dyeing methods using said derivatives, are also disclosed.

L'invention a pour objet une composition pour la teinture d'oxydation des fibres kératiniques contenant au moins un dérivé N-substitué du 4- hydroxyindole à titre de coupleur et au moins une base d'oxydation. L'invention a également pour objet de nouveaux dérivés N-substitués du 4- hydroxyindole, leur procédé de synthèse, leur utilisation à titre de coupleurs pour la teinture d'oxydation des fibres kératiniques en association avec au moins une base d'oxydation, ainsi que les procédés de teinture les mettant en oeuvre.
