TITLE: DYE SOLVENTS FOR PRESSURE-SENSITIVE COPYING SYSTEMS INVENTOR: JOHN F. HERBER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Solvent compositions useful to dissolve dyes employed in pressure-sensitive copying systems comprise: (A) about 45 to 75 weight percent of one or more compounds having the general formula Image wherein R and R' can be the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, methyl and ethyl; and (B) about 55 to 25 weight percent of (i) hexylbenzene; or (ii) a composition comprising about 45 to 75 weight percent C10 to C16 alkanes and the balance C7 to C10 alkylbenzenes.
