SO-1-47821C/YT/87 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dyeable poly-.alpha.-olefin composition having improved dyeablity, is disclosed, comprising a melt kneaded mixture of (A) 100 parts by weight of a poly-.alpha.-olefin; (B) from 1 to 20 parts by weight of an ethylene copolymer having a melt index as defined in JIS K-6760 at 190°C in the range of from 1 to 1,000 9/10 min, which is composed of (a) from 40 to 95% by weight of ethylene and (b) from 5 to 60% by weight of at least one dialkylaminoalkyl acrylamide comonomer represented by the formula: Image wherein R1 represents hydrogen or a methyl group; R2 and R3 each represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of from- 2 to 4; and (C) from 0 to 3 parts by weight of at least one alkali metal salt of an organic carboxylic acid having from 7 to 24 carbon atoms.
