A dynamic damper for installation in a drill string (1), the purpose of which damper is to reduce the risk of jamming the drill bit (5), thereby avoiding damages in the event of unwanted extreme oscillations and rotational speed of the drill string caused by uncontrolled release of torsional energy in the drill string when the drill string suddenly breaks free of the jam. For this purpose, the damper is constructed from an outer and an inner string section (11) and (12), supported concentrically and interconnected through a helical threaded connection (10), so that relative rotation between the sections caused by torque (8) will give an axial movement that lifts and loosens the drill bit from the bottom of the hole in critical jamming situations. The spring (9) maintains the outer string section in an axial position against the shoulder (22). A hydraulic damping effect on the axial movements is achieved by oil volumes (16) and (17) being interconnected through narrow bores (18). Logging of the damping function is carried out by sensor (20), which registers and stores data to be read when the damper is retrieved to the surface.
La présente invention concerne un amortisseur dynamique pour train de tiges (1) servant à diminuer les risques d'engorgement du trépan (5), ce qui permet d'éviter de l'endommager en cas de très fortes oscillations parasites ou de vitesse de rotation du train de tige provoquée par un relâchement incontrôlé de l'énergie de torsion du train de tiges lorsque ce dernier se casse brutalement et se libère de l'engorgement. A cette fin, l'amortisseur est construit à partir d'un segment de train de tige extérieur (11) et d'un segment de train de tige intérieur (12), supportés concentriquement et interconnectés par une liaison filetée hélicoïdale (10) de façon que la rotation relative entre les segments provoquée par le couple (8) crée un mouvement axial qui relève et dégage le trépan du fond de trou dans des conditions critiques d'engorgement. Le ressort (9) contraint le segment de ressort extérieur en position axial contre l'épaulement (22). On obtient un effet d'amortissement hydraulique pour les mouvements axiaux du fait de la présence de volumes d'huile (16, 17) reliés entre eux par des perçages étroits (18). Un capteur (20) permet de garder une trace des fonctions d'amortisseur, ce capteur enregistrant et mémorisant des données pouvant être lues une fois que l'amortisseur est ramené à la surface.
