A method of using a computer network for Dynamic Discovery of Quality of Service Nodes is provided. The method comprises requesting for a level of Quality of Service (QoS) of communication for a service of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) by a Application Service Provider (ASP). The request is based on a Quality of Service by Reference (QoSbyR) information that is received by the ASP from a user. The QoSbyR information comprises a ISP location information and a level of Quality of Service information.

Cette invention concerne un procédé dutilisation dun réseau informatique pour la découverte dynamique de la qualité des nuds de service. Ledit procédé comprend la demande, par un fournisseur de services applicatifs (ASP), dun niveau de qualité de service (QoS) de communication correspondant à un service dun fournisseur de services Internet (ISP). Cette demande est basée sur des informations de qualité de service par référence (QoSbyR) envoyées à lASP par un utilisateur. Les informations de QoSbyR comprennent des informations relatives à la localisation de lISP et des informations relatives à un niveau de qualité de service.
