There is provided a method and devices for dynamically controlling transmission of communications in a wireless network, which comprises a managing entity and a managed entity that communicate which each other. The managed entity transmits updating information that includes indications of current resources available thereat and/or indications that relate to the reception of communications transmitted by the managing entity. A reporting rate for transmitting the updating information by the managed entity to the managing entity is then determined, and based on the reporting rate that has been determined - modifying, if required, parameters associated with the wireless link extending between the two entities so as to affect changes in the operating conditions at one or both of these entities.

L'invention concerne un procédé et des dispositifs destinés à contrôler dynamiquement la transmission de communications dans un réseau sans fil, dispositifs comprenant une entité de gestion et une entité gérée communiquant entre elles. L'entité gérée transmet une information de mise à jour comprenant des indications de ressources actuelles disponibles et/ou des indications ayant trait à la réception de communications transmises par l'entité de gestion. Une vitesse de rapport pour la transmission de l'information de mise à jour par l'entité gérée est alors déterminée et, sur la base de la vitesse de rapport qui a été déterminée, on effectue une modification, si requise, des paramètres associés avec la liaison sans fil s'étendant entre les deux entités, de manière à effectuer des changements dans les conditions de fonctionnement sur l'une ou les deux entités.
