A method and strategy by which cellular networks can dynamically adapt a radio link according to changing conditions of interference. In particular, the method applies to uplink time slots in UMTS-TDD systems. A preferred embodiment describes performing dynamic link adaptation when a UE has two CCTrCHs in an uplink time slot. The method and strategy of the invention are applicable for UMTS-FDD, CDMA-2000, and other systems as well.

L'invention concerne un procédé et une stratégie au moyen desquels des réseaux cellulaires peuvent adapter de manière dynamique une liaison radio en fonction des conditions de changement d'interférence. Notamment, ce procédé s'applique aux intervalles de temps de liaison montante dans des systèmes UMTS-TDD. Un mode de réalisation préféré concerne la réalisation d'une adaptation de liaison dynamique, lorsqu'un équipement d'utilisateur a deux canaux physiques à commande commune (CCTrCH) dans un intervalle de temps de liaison montante. Le procédé et la stratégie de cette invention peuvent s'appliquer à UMTS-DRT, à un accès multiple par répétition en code 2000 (CDMA-2000), ainsi qu'à d'autres systèmes.
