A method and system are set forth for providing dynamic RF communication resources to a mobile unit (102G) as that mo- bile unit (102G) changes geographic areas (110, 112) such that RF communication resource used by that mobile unit (102G) is generally not forcibly terminated as that mobile unit (102G) roves to a geographical area (112) not served by the RF communica- tion resource where the mobile unit (102G) is presently located.
