A building automation system (BAS) architecture is disclosed. The BAS comprises, in one embodiment, an architecture comprising a communication network and having a dynamic extensibility capability and an automatic configuration capability; an engine communicatively coupled to the communication network; and at least one control device communicatively coupled to the communication network, the control device being known or unknown to the engine. The engine can be adapted to selectively implement the dynamic extensibility capability to establish communications with and to control both known and unknown control devices. The engine can be further adapted to selectively implement the automatic configuration capability to determine at least one characteristic of both known and unknown control devices. A method of adding a control device to a building automation system (BAS) by dynamically extending and automatically configuring an architecture of the BAS is also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne une architecture de système de contrôle automatique de bâtiments (building automation system / BAS). Dans un mode de réalisation, le BAS comprend: une architecture qui comprend un réseau de communication et a une capacité d'extension dynamique et une capacité de configuration automatique; un moteur couplé au réseau de communication pour pouvoir communiquer avec lui; et au moins un dispositif de commande couplé au réseau de communication pour pouvoir communiquer avec lui, le dispositif de commande étant connu ou non du moteur. Le moteur peut être conçu pour réaliser une implémentation sélective de la capacité d'extension dynamique afin d'établir des communications avec des dispositifs de commande connus et non connus, et de les commander. Le moteur peut également être conçu pour réaliser une implémentation sélective de la capacité de configuration automatique afin de déterminer au moins une caractéristique des dispositifs de commande connus et non connus. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé pour ajouter un dispositif de commande à un système de contrôle automatique de bâtiments (BAS), par extension dynamique et configuration automatique de l'architecture du BAS.
