Provided are replication competent, recombinant adenovirus vectors containing mutations in the E1B region which permit the easy deletion of a gene or genes therein, and optionally the substitution therefore of a heterologous gene that substantially exhibits the temporal expression pattern of the E1b region gene(s) deleted. Such vectors have applications for the treatment of disease, and preferably for the treatment of neoplastic disease.

L'invention concerne des vecteurs d'adénovirus de recombinaison, capables de réplication, qui portent des mutations dans la région E1B et qui autorisent une délétion facile d'un ou de plusieurs gènes dans cette région ou éventuellement la substitution d'un gène hétérologue représentant sensiblement le schéma d'expression temporelle des gènes délétés dans la région E1B. Ces vecteurs peuvent être utilisés pour le traitement de certaines maladies et, de préférence, celui d'une maladie néoplasique.
