In the Northern Canadian communities the cold weather is a major problem for the house owner keeping the water pipes from freezing which is a difficult task especially in the event of power failure that causes the circulating pumps to stop and pipes to freeze. I have invented an apparatus which will automatically energize the pump in the event of a power failure preventing the pipes from freezing.
