Eear flap/warmers (1) found in sporting helmets (2) allow the wearer to connect to and utilize external audio (stereo) reproduction and/or 2-way communication devices with added convenience over previous inventions by incorporating a mechanical electrical interconnect (12) located in or by replacing, the helmet chinstrap connection. The user can conveniently don or remove said EAR FLAPS (1) equipped helmet by disconnecting and reconnecting said interconnect. Added convenience to EAR FLAPS (1) can be providedby use of multifunct ional chinstrap connection mechanical electrical interconnects (12) providing the benefits of the electrical interconnect (12) with the functioning to secure the sporting helmet (2) chinstraps (10). Where applicable said multifunctional chinstrap connection can also incorporate a built in microphone and (where applicable and not installed in said ear flap/warmers) circuitry, resistors and/or switches to allow the function of audio reproduction and 2-way communication through the same EAR FLAPS (1) equipped helmet(2).
L'invention concerne des rabats/chauffe-oreilles (1) de casques (2) pour sportifs permettant à l'utilisateur de connecter et d'utiliser des dispositifs de lecture audio (stéréo) extérieurs et/ou de communication à deux voies avec un confort accru par rapport aux inventions précédentes, par incorporation d'une interconnexion électromécanique (12) disposée dans la mentonnière du casque, ou par remplacement de la connexion de la mentonnière. L'utilisateur peut, de façon commode, ajouter ou enlever, par connexion et déconnexion, l'interconnexion du casque équipé des rabats (1). Un autre avantage de ces rabats (1) réside dans la possibilité d'utiliser des interconnexions électromécaniques (12) de mentonnière à fonctions multiples combinant les bénéfices de l'interconnexion électrique (12) à ceux de fixation des parties (10) de mentonnière du casque (2). Cette connexion de mentonnière à fonctions multiples peut aussi, lorsque l'application en est possible, incorporer un microphone intégré (application possible et non installé dans les rabats/chauffe-oreilles) ainsi que des circuits, résistances et/ou commutateurs afin de permettre la lecture audio et les communications à deux voies via le même casque (2) équipé de rabats (1).
