Protective ear covering and method of producing the same, comprising enclosing a flexible, cupshaped insert (5) which may be turned against a biasing force to bulge from a position wherein an ear is insertable through an opening (6) of the insert to a position wherein the insert is attached around the ear, the method including that the insert is attached to the wrong side of the stitched clothing (4) and then turned through its own opening together with the clothing for turning the clothing right.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection pour les oreilles et un procédé de production correspondant. Ce dispositif comprend un insert (5) cupuliforme et flexible, doté d'un revêtement (4). On peut retourner l'insert en agissant à l'encontre d'une force inhérente, le faisant ainsi passer d'une position qui permet d'introduire l'oreille par une ouverture (6) pratiquée dans l'insert, à une autre position dans laquelle l'insert est accroché à l'oreille. Selon le procédé de l'invention, l'insert est fixé à l'envers du revêtement (4) déjà cousu et ensuite retourné à travers sa propre ouverture afin de remettre le protecteur d'oreille à l'endroit.
