An earth boring apparatus for sinking shafts and removing shaft material from the shaft, the apparatus having at least two decks; hydraulic means for allowing movement of the decks relative to one another; releasable anchoring means associated with the decks for engaging walls of the shaft to secure the apparatus in a stationary position; whereby the releasable anchoring means of one of the decks engages the wall while the releasable anchoring means of the other deck is released from the wall to allow motion of the other deck along the shaft, in cooperation with the hydraulic means. The apparatus also includes guide means for forcing a bucket for hoisting shaft material from the shaft along a predetermined path, and an in-stage cut-boom drill.
L'invention concerne un appareil de forage de terrain destiné à enfoncer des puits ou retirer un matériau d'un puits. L'appareil compend deux ponts; un moyen hydraulique assurant le mouvement des ponts l'un relativement à l'autre; un moyen d'ancrage détachable associé aux ponts pour entrer en prise avec des parois du puits et fixer l'appareil dans une position stationnaire. Le moyen d'ancrage détachable d'un des ponts entre en prise avec la paroi tandis que le moyen d'ancrage détachable de l'autre pont est détaché de la paroi pour permettre le déplacement de l'autre pont le long du puits, en coopération avec le moyen hydraulique. L'appareil comprend en outre un moyen de guidage pour forcer un godet à hisser du matériau de puits du puits le long d'un chemin préétabli. Il comprend enfin un foret télescopique intégré au pont.
