An earthquake sensor includes a base (18), a first element (22) pivotably supported on the base (18) at a first pivot location (20), and a second element (32) pivotably supported on the first element (22) at a second pivot location (30). A sensor apparatus (34) senses earthquake actuated vibration of the second element (32) and provides an output indication (41) thereof.

Cette invention concerne un capteur de secousse tellurique comportant une base (18), un premier élément (22) monté pivotant sur la base (18) au niveau d'un premier point pivot (20), et un second élément (32) monté pivotant sur le premier élément (22) au niveau d'un second point pivot (30). Un appareil faisant office de capteur (34) détecte la vibration du second élément (32) produite par la secousse tellurique et communique en sortie une indication (41) représentative de cette secousse.
