A device (50) for deactivating a magnetomechanical EAS marker includes a coil (64, 66, 68, 70) and circuitry (72) for energizing the coil to generate an alternating magnetic field. The coil is wound around a magnetic core (52). The core may be cruciform with four arms, on each of which a respective coil is provided. Alternatively, the core may be generally square and planar, with two coils (102, 104) wound around the core (100) in different respective directions.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (50) de désactivation d'un marqueur électronique de surveillance des articles magnétomécanique qui comprend une bobine (64, 66, 68, 70) et un circuit (72) permettant de mettre la bobine sous tension pour générer un champ magnétique alternatif. La bobine est enroulée autour d'un noyau magnétique (52). Le noyau peut être sous forme de croix, présenter quatre bras, sur chacun desquels se trouve une bobine. Selon une autre variante, le noyau peut être carré et plan, présenter deux (102, 104) enroulées autour du noyau (100), chacune orientée vers une direction différente.
