An EAS system (1) employing a central station (6) having a central processing unit (7) and a local station (8) having a microcontroller (9) and in which the functions necessary for detecting the EAS tag (5) signals and generating alarms (13) are shared by the central station and the local station. A switch (14A-14D) is further provided at the local station for automatically reconfiguring the receiver antennas (3A-3H) based on antenna configuration instructions generated at the central station responsive to certain conditions at the location (2) being monitored.
L'invention porte sur un système électronique de surveillance d'articles (EAS) (1) mettant en oeuvre une station centrale (6), pourvue d'une unité centrale de traitement (7), et une station locale (8) possédant un microcontrôleur (9). Dans ce système, les stations centrale et locale se partagent les fonctions nécessaires à la détection de signaux de repère EAS (5) et au déclenchement d'alarmes (13). La station locale est, en outre, pourvue d'un commutateur (14A-14D) servant à reconfigurer automatiquement les antennes réceptrices (3A-3H) d'après des instructions de configuration d'antenne produites par la station centrale sensible à certaines conditions de l'endroit (2) mis sous surveillance.
