EASEL, CHAIR AND SUPPORT STAND COMBINATION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rear panel is supported at an inclined angle from the horizontal by a hinged leg which extends upwardly and downwardly rearwardly of the rear panel. A front panel is hinged to the base of the rear panel and normally extends outwardly horizontally or may be folded up against the front of the rear panel. The front panel is slotted transversely near the hinge line on the upper surface for engagement by a board or the like to support same and a grooved cleat is situated on the underside of the front panel adjacent the front edge thereof. When the front panel is unfolded, the structure may he used as a chair or as an easel for relati- vely large boards and the like. When folded upwardly against the rear panel, the grooved cleat can support a board, sheet music or the like. If necessary, a padded headrest may be provided to facilitate the use of the device as a seat.
