ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is described a bubble-cap column for the distill- ation of high sediment or clogging liquids, the column including at least one plate, a plurality of bubble-cap structures provided on the plate, each structure comprising a bubble-cap overlying a neck portion. The bubble-caps are arranged in at least one row on the plate and are suspended from an elongate carrier connected to each of the aligned bubble-caps to permit the concurrent re- moval of the bubble-caps from the column with the carrier.
