This invention relates to a hanger to be used on the fork of a material handling vehicle, particularly a lift truck. Hangers welded onto the shank of lift truck forks engage on carriage bars mounted on the carriage of the material handling vehicle. In order to facilitate lateral sliding of the fork and hanger along the carriage bar to adjust the location of the fork on the lift truck vehicle, the hanger has special configuration. The surfaces of the hanger which engage a support surface of the carriage bar have lateral edges. The lateral edges are relieved. The relieved portion eliminates a sharp corner which might otherwise dig into the carrige bar during lateral movement and also assists in directing any lubricant on the carriage bar under the engaging surface rather than scrapping the lubricant off.
La présente invention porte sur un support à utiliser sur la fourche d'un véhicule de manutention, en particulier un chariot élévateur. Les supports soudés aux bras des fourches de chariot élévateur se mettent en prise sur les barres du tablier du véhicule de manutention. Pour faciliter le glissement latéral de la fourche et du support le long de la barre du tablier de manière à régler l'emplacement de la fourche sur le chariot élévateur, le support a une configuration spéciale. Les surfaces du support qui se mettent en prise sur une surface d'appui de la barre du tablier ont des bords latéraux. Les bords latéraux sont adoucis. La partie adoucie élimine un angle vif qui pourrait gruger la barre du tablier durant le mouvement latéral et aide à diriger tout lubrifiant sur la barre du tablier sous la surface de mise en prise plutôt que d'enlever le lubrifiant en raclant la surface.
