AN EASY OPENING FIN SEAL PACKAGE Abstract A fin seal package having sealed end portions each with a tear notch and a method of forming such a package are disclosed. The notches are preferably aligned to each other and provide the means for creating an opening of the fin seal package which is perpendicular to the region enclosing the product. The perpendicular opening allows ready access to the contents of the pouch while at the same time not causing any inadvertent spilling of the contents.
