ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conduit box is provided with one or more knockout structures having two removable portions to selectively accommodate either of two conduit sizes. The inner removable portion is eccentric relative to the outer, the inner portion having a step-wise increase in diameter over approximately a 90° region of its periphery. The outer member is thus a truncated crescent having blunt ends. The inner member is attached to the surrounding wall region by one tie and to the outer member by two ties. The outer member is attached to the surrounding wall by five ties, pro- ducing a favorable strength relationship. With either member removed, a conduit is attached by a lock nut which contacts a fixed, unmovable wall portion.
