ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An eccentrically rotatable valve for controlling fluid flow, wherein the axis of rotation of the stem of the valve is arranged to be central with respect to the valve body, permitting simple manufacture. This is achieved by arranging the sealing seat within the valve body to be at an angle with or offset from the central axis of the valve.
