ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A relatively simple, economical N2 generating unit utilizes a single absorption column filled with a kinetic zeolite sieve material and is controlled by a standard three way solenoid valve by a commercially available timing mechanism. The duty cycle is relatively fast and produces a nitrigen stream from a feed stream of air having a predetermined minimum pressure. The overall unit is compact, relatively inexpensive and simple in operation and comprised of standard, readily available components.
