The invention concerns a probe for detecting faults in electrically conductive parts (1) comprising a row of transmitting (27) and receiving (28) windings forming a pattern of active windings. The receiving windings (28) are influenced by different electromagnetic fields derived from several neighbouring transmitting windings (27) at the same time, thus sensitizing them to different types of faults. The pattern of active windings is displaced along the row. These probes are generally used for inspecting steam generator tubes of nuclear plants.
La sonde conforme à l'invention pour détecter des défauts de pièces électriquement conductrices (1) comprend une rangée de bobinages émetteurs (27) et récepteurs (28) formant un motif de bobinages actifs. Les bobinages récepteurs (28) sont influencés par des champs électromagnétiques différents pouvant provenir de plusieurs bobinages émetteurs (27) voisins à la fois, ce qui fait qu'ils sont sensibles à des genres différents de défauts. Le motif de bobinages actifs est déplacé le long de la rangée. Ces sondes sont généralement employées pour l'examen des tubes de générateurs de vapeur de centrales nucléaires.
