ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A suction cleaner nozzle has main and one or more edge cleaning secondary nozzle openings oriented at right angles to the main nozzle opening. Auxiliary passage means connects the secon- dary nozzle or nozzles with a zone of high suction in the suction source for the main nozzle. Valve means in the auxiliary passages may be moved selectively to open or closed position. A clean-out door is provided for each auxiliary passage. A driven rotary brush for enhanced cleaning is located in each secondary nozzle opening.
