ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tool for applying filler or other fluid material to the edge of a board and regions of the surface of the board adjacent to the edge has a pair of side members and a blade extending between the side members, the blade and the side members together forming a channel within which the filler is to be placed. The blade has an applicator edge generally normal to the side members and portions of the side members generally normal and adjacent to the applicator edge of the blade constitute application surfaces. The side members can be squeezed together to engage opposed surfaces of a board to the edge of which the filler is to be applied, that filler being applied as the applicator edge is drawn along the edge of the board.
