In conventional edge finders, it is required for the user to engage in a process to determine the edge of the work piece. In this invention, a gauge is affixed to the main body in a way that allows an edge to be determined and remove any uncertainty. Therefore, this invention allows the edge finder to be much more accurate and easier to use.
